This procedure regulates the issuance of the chief architect's technical approval for urban planning and territorial arrangement documentation by the Maramureș County Institution. The structure handling the application is the Document Intake Department.

For the issuance of the technical approval, the applicant will address the Maramureș County Council by submitting electronically the following documents:- Application for the issuance of the technical approval - form;
- Urban planning certificate;
- Opportunity approval (if applicable);- proof of ownership over the property, land and/or buildings (if applicable);

- Foundation study;
- Approvals/ agreements/ etc.- The report on informing and consulting the public regarding the PUZ proposals is done before sending the documentation through the technical approval circuit;

- Urban planning or territorial arrangement documentation;

- Proof of payment of the legal fee (copy). Payment can be made by bank transfer to account RO 10TREZ43621330250XXXXX, C.U.I. 3627315, through TREZORERIA Baia Mare.
- Other documents the applicant considers necessary (optional).
The issuance of the approval is conditional upon sending by mail, to the issuer's headquarters, the original documents, if they do not have an electronic signature.

The substantiation of the proposals within the documentation is based on substantiation studies, which are specialized works that provide analyses and proposals for solving the problems of the territory and the localities, by domains, their results being intended to support the proposals for regulating the development of the administrative-territorial units, which are formulated through the basic documentation. The substantiation studies must present conclusions based on the analysis of updated data, no older than 3 years from the date of elaboration. Studies, researches and previous projects may be used only if the information provided by them has not lost its validity.*

1. The approvals and agreements regarding the spatial and urban planning documentation are issued in order to achieve harmony between the development proposals for the territory and the development policies and sectoral strategies at national, regional, county, and local levels, as well as with the specific legal provisions. The list of approvals and agreements required for the approval of the spatial planning documentation is established in compliance with the legal provisions in temporarily force in the field of territorial planning and urbanism and related fields, in accordance with the specifics of the territory that is the subject of the planning documentation. For P.U.G. type documentation, the list of required approvals and agreements for approval is established by consulting the specialized structure at the county level. 2.
