Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles for general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in the other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and nurse, in other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and nurse, in other EU Member States consist in preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of other EU Member States, countries belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, where the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired membership of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all requested documents. If the applicant does not meet the deadline for completion, upon its expiry, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialised structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be transmitted online to applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they have submitted the electronic file.
