The procedure provides for the modality of issuing Certificates of conformity, according to art. 36 of Law no. 200/2004, to applicants holding diplomas/titles/certificates attesting training and professional development in the dental technician profession, obtained in Romania, who wish to practice the dental technician profession in the member states of the European Union, European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation.

The profession of dental technician, regulated by Law 96/2007, is included in the "List of regulated professions in Romania" from Annex no. 2 of Law 200/2004 - regarding list of regulated professions in Romania on the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania.*

Proof of payment of the amount related to the issuance fee for the certificate of conformity, payment of outstanding debts, obtaining/meeting the conditions for obtaining the annual endorsement on the back of the membership certificate, obtaining the endorsement for the form of practicing the profession, and authorization of the laboratory (where applicable). The fee charged for issuing the certificate of conformity is 400 lei and applies only to dental technicians who are not OTDR members or, as the case may be, OTDR members with "suspended" membership status.
