The Ministry of Education has been carrying out for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money", through which it provides financial support for students in high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

Beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose gross monthly income per family member, achieved in the last 3 months prior to submitting the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or custody, in case the above-stated income condition is satisfied.

The documents will be submitted as copies, provided that at the time of submitting the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, in case all the legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to the increase of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the value of the maximum threshold for granting the scholarship was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the granting threshold with the current economic situation.
