This methodology establishes the manner in which automatic recognition is carried out, within the Gheorghe Dima National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, of teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries, who have obtained teaching positions in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities in other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states", approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.

The teaching profession is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania with subsequent amendments and additions.*
