The suspension of membership status occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits a request at the territorial College headquarters, respectively the Salaj Pharmacists' College, requesting the suspension of membership status. When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and fulfill the condition of continuous professional training through a total of 40 EFC hours during the respective period.

The pharmacist is obliged to inform the Romanian Pharmacists' College within 30 days of resuming activity.
