The present procedure establishes the way by which the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca recognizes the doctoral diploma and the doctoral degree in sciences obtained abroad. The procedure respects the principle of legality, university autonomy, transparency, responsibility, ethical and deontological norms in force.

Appeal routes
The decision of recognition or non-recognition is issued, following the pronouncement of the final resolution, by the Board of Administration of USAMV Cluj-Napoca.
Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of Doctor of Science by IOSUD - USAMV Cluj-Napoca must be submitted within 15 calendar days from receipt of the decision. The response to the submitted appeal will be communicated, within 5 calendar days, by the management of IOSUD – USAMV Cluj-Napoca. The final decision can later be challenged in court.
