Emergency aid can be provided to families and single persons who have their domicile or residence in Homocea commune, who are in situations of necessity due to natural disasters, fires, accidents, as well as other exceptional situations established by local council decision: have serious health problems proven by medical documents; have been evicted/are at imminent risk of eviction; a person from the beneficiary family of minimum inclusion income or from a low-income family who did not receive a death grant from another institution has died; have children who attend school, adult students or university students, for the following purposes: payment of school fees and/or other expenses related to attending an educational institution, purchase of supplies and/or clothing for them or payment of expenses related to participation in a certain competition or at the award ceremony of a prize won; they live in conditions unsuitable for decent living, in houses degraded as a result of extreme poverty and require support to improve living conditions, repair their homes and connect to water and electricity networks or are homeless persons; are in situations of necessity due to destruction of real and personal property caused by fires or floods.
Emergency aid cannot be granted to single persons/families who own one or more of the following assets: buildings or other residential spaces outside the domicile, as well as land located in urban areas with a surface of over 1,200 sqm and 2,500 sqm in rural areas, except for land enclosing the home and its adjacent yard; car/cars and/or motorcycle/motorcycles less than 10 years old, except those adapted for persons with disabilities; more than one vehicle older than 10 years; boats, motorboats, yachts or other types of vessels; bank deposits valued at more than 3 times the average gross salary provided by the State Social Insurance Law.
