The allowance for supporting the family is a form of aid for families with low incomes who are raising and caring for children up to 18 years old. The granting of the allowance for supporting the family aims to supplement the incomes of families in order to provide better conditions for raising and educating children, as well as to encourage school-age children in the care of families with low incomes to attend courses of a form of education organized according to the law, according to art.1, paragraph 2 of law 277/2010 regarding the allowance for supporting the family, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions.
