The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch for Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before the expiration of this period, a single extension of the approval can be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration of the ANIF approval validity period for which the extension is requested) and its verification on site.

The extension of the approval will bear a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuance register and is granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a further extension of the approval validity is not possible, the applicant having to obtain, in accordance with the law, another ANIF approval.

ANIF issues the approvals within 30 days from the submission of the documentation.
