The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch for Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, only one extension of the approval may be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration date of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and its verification on site.

The extension of the approval will have a different registration number from the ANIF approval register and is granted for a maximum of 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the approval validity is not possible, and the applicant must obtain, under the conditions of the law, another ANIF approval.

ANIF issues approvals within 30 days from the submission of the documentation.
