In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, draws up and issues documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualifications
as general nurse, midwife and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.

The activities of attesting the Romanian qualifications of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States consist of drawing up and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU member states, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles in accordance with the procedures laid down by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as amended and
supplemented. Where appropriate, attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.

Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the relevant documents, shall be sent through PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, of which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired membership of OAMGMAMR, the application shall be submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.

If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or if it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the required documents. If the applicant does not
meet the completion deadline, upon its expiry, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.

The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the OAMGMAMR National specialized structure, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.

MANDATORY FOR GRADUATES WHO COMPLETED THEIR STUDIES BEFORE 2007 - The employment record book - a copy certified as “true to the original” by the employer. In the case of employers from the private sector, the INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT will be uploaded electronically along with any additional documents - copies certified as “true to the original” by the employer. If the applicant cannot provide proof of professional experience, a scanned own responsibility statement will be attached, mentioning this situation. The statement will include the name and surname, identification details, domicile, profession, and the mention “I declare on my own responsibility that I have not practiced the profession and do not possess any evidence regarding professional experience.” FOR GRADUATES WHO ENROLLED IN STUDIES STARTING FROM 2007 – a scanned statement will be attached, mentioning the name and surname, identification details, domicile, profession, and the mention “I, the undersigned…, declare that I graduated from the … school/faculty in the year …”.*

The extract from REVISAL must contain the position, employment standard, start and end date of the worked period… FOR GRADUATES WHO COMPLETED THEIR STUDIES AFTER 2010 – a scanned statement must be attached, mentioning the name and surname, identification data, domicile, profession, and the statement "I declare that I have graduated from the school/faculty ... in the year ...".*
