In order to waive the performance of operations with precious metals and precious stones, the interested economic operator will complete an application for waiver of operations with precious metals and precious stones, in which they will specify the operations they no longer wish to perform, as named in the annex of the authorization. The application is submitted through the electronic services portal. The specialized department will make the corresponding waiver notes on the annex of the authorization. The economic operator may request the cessation of operations with precious metals and precious stones by completing in the electronic services portal available on the ANPC website, an application for temporary suspension/cessation of activity and will submit, if applicable, supporting documents issued by the National Trade Register Office. Upon cessation of activity, the economic operator will submit to the headquarters of the specialized department, if applicable, the punches with the responsibility mark and the authorization issued in printed format, as the case may be.*
