This procedure describes how specialists – natural persons certified as energy auditors for buildings can request the update of personal data in the database. The energy auditor for buildings operates as an independent expert, authorized natural person or as an employee of a legal entity, according to the legislation in force and is required to comply with the provisions of the code of conduct for energy auditors for buildings. The status of energy auditor for buildings is proven by the certification issued by the competent authority. The right to practice is proven by the valid badge issued by the competent authority together with the certification.Regulated profession: The profession of certified energy auditor for buildings is found at position 12 of Annex no. 2 to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.

Decisions regarding the profession of energy auditor for buildings can be challenged before the Romanian administrative courts, with respect to material and territorial competence, as well as the deadlines established by art. 7 and art. 10 of the Administrative Litigation Law no. 554/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions.
