Authorized natural persons or legal persons who import computer programs are required to register all computer programs in the National Register of Computer Programs, before introducing them into the commercial circuit, according to art. 20 para. 4 of O.G. 25/2006 republished, modified and completed by O.U.G. 43/2010.
The documents for registration must contain the following:
- Standard requests:
- Form F8 - registration of computer programs;
Documents Copies of:
- proof of rights holder's consent for the activities of distribution, commercialization, and renting, in authorized translation, accompanied by the annex with programs;
- the invoice/payment order regarding the registration operation in the register.
The fees for registration operations are provided by H.G.1086/2008, as follows:
- up to 20 program titles inclusive - 50 lei/request;
- between 21 and 50 program titles inclusive - 75 lei/request;
- between 51 and 100 program titles inclusive - 100 lei/request;
- over 100 program titles - 150 lei/request;
- supplement request for completing missing documents, following the rejection of the initial registration request 10 lei.
Payment is made at the ORDA cashier's office at Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, sector 1, Bucharest, or in the account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at the Treasury Sector 1, Bucharest, CUI 4266995.
