“The professional scholarship” is a national social program addressed to all students attending vocational education and consists of monthly financial support.

Children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania, or foreigners, namely citizens of the European Union/The European Economic Area and of the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence/stay on the territory of Romania, who attend vocational education, are also entitled to the “professional scholarship”.

Students in vocational education cannot benefit simultaneously from the “professional scholarship” and the financial support granted to students within the national social protection program “High school money”.

At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national commission is established to monitor the granting of the “professional scholarship”.
