“Professional scholarship” is a national social program addressed to all students attending professional education and consists of monthly financial support.

“Professional scholarship” is also granted to children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania or to foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence/settlement on the territory of Romania, who attend professional education.

Students in professional education cannot simultaneously benefit from the “Professional scholarship” and the financial support granted to students under the national social protection program “Money for high school”.

At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national commission for monitoring the granting of the “Professional scholarship” is established.
