“Professional scholarship” is a national social program aimed at all students attending professional education and consists of monthly financial support.

Children of foreigners benefiting from a form of protection in Romania, or foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and the Swiss Confederation with the right to stay/residence in Romania, who attend professional education, also benefit from the “Professional scholarship”.

Students in professional education cannot benefit simultaneously from the “Professional scholarship” and the financial support granted to students within the National Social Protection Program “High school money”.

At the Ministry of Education, a national commission for monitoring the granting of the “Professional scholarship” will be established.
