The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money," through which it provides financial support for students in high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to receive this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose gross monthly income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to the submission of the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students benefiting from a protection measure or under guardianship or curatorship in case the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents will be submitted in copy, on the condition that, at the time of submitting the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, throughout the duration of the courses, if all legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
Along with the indexation of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum amount for granting the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the support ceiling with the current economic situation.
