The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "Bani de liceu" (High School Money), through which it provides financial support for students in high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the Bani de liceu portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, serves as an effective means of information.

Beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose gross monthly income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to submitting the application, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or curatorship, provided the income condition mentioned above is met.

The documents will be submitted in copy, provided that, at the time of submitting the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, provided that all the legal conditions stipulated are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to indexing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum allowance threshold for the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the necessity of correlating the support threshold with the current economic situation.
