The procedure presents the steps to follow and the documents that must be submitted for registration in the professional certification examination for mountain rescuer. The profession of mountain rescuer can only be practiced by an accredited individual who meets all the conditions provided in Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the implementation of measures for the prevention of mountain accidents and the organization of mountain rescue activities.

For registration in the professional certification examination for mountain rescuer, the applicant submits the required documents online or by mail in copy, and will present the originals before taking the certification exam. The final documents will be sent in original, by mail, to the applicant or, as the case may be, to the Salvamont service of which he is a member.
