For registering in the tax records a means of transport for goods with a total authorized mass of over 12 tons, the form (model 2016 ITL 006) is downloaded, filled in and electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

For the identification of individuals in relation to the local tax authority and the establishment of their tax domicile, the following documents shall be electronically attached, as appropriate: - Identity document; - Birth certificate (in the case of a minor owner who does not hold an identity card, in which case the tax declaration will be completed by their legal guardian); - Tax registration certificate (document by which the tax identification number/tax registration code is individualized and is used in the case where the taxpayer does not have a personal identification number). Note: The conformity with the original of the copies shall be carried out by the taxpayer/payer by entering the note "conform cu originalul" (true to the original), in accordance with art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code, as amended and supplemented, and each document will be electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

For representing taxpayers in relation to the local tax authority, the following documents are to be attached electronically: - Power of attorney and the attorney-in-fact's identity document. Note: The compliance with the original of the copies shall be performed by the taxpayer/payer by adding the mention "true to the original", according to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code with subsequent amendments and completions, and each document shall be electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

In the case of individuals, for registration in the tax records of a means of transport with a total authorized mass of over 12 tons, the following supporting documents are attached electronically, as applicable: - The identity document, - The document proving the acquisition of the means of transport, which may be, as the case may be: Fiscal invoice Alienation-acquisition contract Exchange contract Donation deed Payment in kind deed Adjudication deed Final and irrevocable/enforceable court decision, etc. - In the case of means of transport subject to financial leasing contracts: The financial leasing contract and/or the novation/assignment contract Proof of recovery and termination request, accompanied by the handover protocol or any other similar document, in the case of taxpayers who are tenants; - Certificate issued by the Romanian Auto Registry Autonomous Authority, certifying the suspension system for means of transport with a total authorized mass of over 12 tons - The vehicle identity card; - Tax clearance certificate issued in the name of the seller/former user, by the specialized department of the competent local public administration authority, except for means of transport acquired from abroad. In case of transfer of ownership, by using, as the case may be, the ALIENATION-ACQUISITION CONTRACT, MODEL 2016 ITL-054, the stamp applied in the upper right corner is equivalent to the TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (according to ORDER 1069/1578/114 of 28.07.2016)!
