The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and delivered by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians within whose jurisdiction the applicant doctor has, as the case may be, his/her domicile/residence or workplace/unit where he/she is to carry out his/her activity.
The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to the persons provided for in Art. 376, paragraph (1) of Law no. 95/2006 on healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, within the meaning of Art. 377, paragraph (3) of Law no. 95/2006 on healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions; b) are not in any case of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law; c) are medically fit to practice the profession of physician; d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their diploma in the last 5 years.
