According to art. 4 of the Procedure regarding the acquisition, maintenance, loss of membership of the National Association of Authorized Valuers of Romania, as well as other provisions regarding fog member status modification of this association, in order to acquire the status of full member, a natural person who is a Romanian citizen must meet the following conditions:

a. must have been declared admitted to the internship completion exam, in accordance with the Regulation for the conduct and completion of the internship, approved by the Board of Directors,

b. must not have been definitively convicted for committing an intentional crime

c. must have concluded a professional civil liability insurance contract for valuation activity, with a minimum liability limit of 10,000 euros, according to the Board of Directors Decision no. 10/2012.

The profession of authorized evaluator is regulated by Government Ordinance no. 24/2011 and is found in the annex list to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.*
