Educational incentives are granted to children from disadvantaged families if the following criteria are cumulatively met:
a) the child is enrolled in a preschool education unit, according to LEN no.1/2011, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) the monthly income per family member is up to twice the guaranteed minimum income level for a single person, as provided by Law no. 416/2001 regarding the guaranteed minimum income, with subsequent amendments and completions.
Law no. 248/2015 on stimulating participation in preschool education of children from disadvantaged families; Government Decision No. 15/2016 for approving the Methodological Norms for the application of the provisions of Law no. 248/2015 on stimulating participation in preschool education of children from disadvantaged families and the procedure for granting social vouchers for kindergarten.
