National
Educational incentives are granted to children from disadvantaged families if the following criteria are cumulatively met:
a) the child is enrolled in a preschool education institution, according to the National Education Law no. 1/2011, as subsequently amended and supplemented;
b) the monthly income per family member is up to twice the minimum guaranteed income for a single person, as provided by Law no. 416/2001 regarding the minimum guaranteed income, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
Law no. 248/2015 on stimulating participation in preschool education of children from disadvantaged families; Government Decision No. 15/2016 for the approval of the Methodological Norms for the application of the provisions of Law no. 248/2015 on stimulating participation in preschool education of children from disadvantaged families and the procedure for granting social vouchers for kindergarten.
