The Ministry of Education has been implementing the national social protection program "High School Money" for over 12 years, through which it provides financial support to students in high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, serves as an efficient means of information.

Beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose monthly gross income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to submitting the application file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or legal custody, provided the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents will be submitted as copies, provided that the applicant also presents the original documents when submitting the application.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, throughout the entire course duration, provided all the legal conditions are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to increasing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum value of the scholarship granting threshold was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/per family member, given the need to correlate the support granting threshold with the current economic situation.
