In order to obtain authorization for operations with precious metals and precious stones, the interested economic operator shall submit a request to the National Authority for Consumer Protection requesting authorization. The authorization request is completed in the account created by the economic operator in the electronic services portal provided by the National Authority for Consumer Protection on the official website. The authorization request is also completed when requesting to supplement the initial authorization with other operations.*

​​If economic operators are dissatisfied with the result of the request, they may submit an appeal within the deadlines and conditions provided by Law no. 554/2004 on administrative litigation, with subsequent amendments and additions. The necessary documents can be accessed on the website of the National Authority for Consumer Protection at: www.anpc.gov.ro or at the headquarters of the Precious Metals Directorate in Bucharest, Str. Fabrica de Chibrituri no. 30, within the State Mint, entrance no. 3, sector 5.
