For producers and importers of phonograms, registration is done according to art. 35 of Government Ordinance 25/2006, republished, amended and supplemented by Emergency Ordinance 43/2010.

The documents for registration must contain the following:

Standard requests: Forms 1,2

Documents: Copies of:

• the registration certificate at the Trade Register Office
• the fiscal registration certificate only for legal entities without patrimonial purpose
• a copy of the invoice/payment order regarding the payment for the registration operation in the register.

The deadlines for solving the requests are provided in art.36, paragraph 1 of Government Ordinance 25/2006, republished, amended and supplemented by Emergency Ordinance 43/2010

• 4 working days for requests sent online
• 10 working days for requests submitted at the headquarters of the Romanian Copyright Office
• 2 working days for the urgent regime.

The fees for registration operations are provided by Government Decision 1086/2008, being as follows:

• registration of phonogram production activity 50 lei
• registration of a work point 20 lei
• registration of storage space 20 lei
• request for completion for completing missing documents, following the rejection of the initial registration request -10 lei.

Payment is made at the ORDA cashier's office at 118 Calea Victoriei, 5th floor, district 1, Bucharest, or in the account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at the Treasury of Sector 1.
