For authorized natural persons or legal entities who import computer programs, they are required to register all computer programs in the National Register of Computer Programs before introducing them into the commercial circuit, according to art.20 para.4 of Government Ordinance 25/2006 republished, amended and completed by Emergency Ordinance 43/2010. The registration documents must contain the following:

Standard application form - Form F8

Copies of documents:

- Proof of the holder's agreement for distribution, commercialization, and rental activities, in authorized translation, accompanied by an annex with programs

- invoice/payment order regarding the registration operation in the register.

The fees for the registration operations are provided by Government Decision 1086/2008, as follows:

- up to 20 program titles inclusive - 50 lei/application

- between 21 and 50 program titles inclusive - 75 lei/application

- between 51 and 100 program titles inclusive - 100 lei/application

- over 100 program titles - 150 lei/application

- application for completion for missing documents as a result of rejection of the initial registration application 10 lei.

Payment is made at the ORDA cashier's office at Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, district 1, Bucharest, or in the account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at Treasury Sector 1, Bucharest, CUI 4266995.
