In the event of the cessation of activity of the tourist accommodation structure, the economic operator owner and/or administrator of the respective tourist accommodation structure has the obligation to request the cancellation of the classification certificate and to return the original classification certificate and the annex sheet/sheets, by mail with acknowledgment of receipt or by submitting them at the registry office of the central public administration authority responsible for tourism.

The public registers of the tourist accommodation structures with lodging and public catering functions whose classification certificate was cancelled in 2019 can be consulted here
