Regarding pipeline the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:

According to the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 consolidated version as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 part I, as well as the Application Norms published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of the chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position of chief), will address the county colleges to obtain the Current Professional Certificate.

Also, this document is required for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country’s borders.

The methodology for symbolization and issuance of the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.

Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the Holocene of issue;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for the preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will prepare the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will prepare and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of evidence - with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists from the respective county - and will hand them over to the applicants with a signature of receipt.

The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 150 lei, will be paid into the account of the Argeș College of Pharmacists RO30BUCU1091215962444RON ALPHA BANK.

To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file containing the documents attached below.
