National
Industry associations from sectors with activities in the food field may develop and disseminate national guides of good practice regarding compliance with food hygiene rules and the application of HACCP principles.
The national guides are evaluated by the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority to ensure that:
a) they have been developed in compliance with the requirements of the applicable legislation in force,
b) their content can be used for the food sectors to which they refer,
c) they are suitable as guides for operators with activity in the food field to comply with hygiene requirements applicable to the sectors and for the food products to which they refer.
The Authority sends the national guides to the European Commission, these being recorded by the Commission.

If the economic operators are dissatisfied with the result of the request, they may file an appeal within the deadlines and under the conditions provided by Law no. 554/2004 on administrative litigation, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
