This procedure establishes how the University of Pite?ti carries out the automatic recognition of the PhD diploma and doctorate title in science or in a professional field, obtained abroad according to the provisions of the Order of the MENCS No. 5923 of December 6, 2016 to approve the Methodology for the recognition of the PhD diploma and doctorate title in science or in a professional field, obtained abroad. This procedure applies to the holders of PhD diplomas in science or in a professional field, obtained in: a) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development in a Member State of the European Union, of the European Economic Area and of the Swiss Confederation; b) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development included in the List of prestigious universities from other States, approved by the order of the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research, regularly updated; c) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development which are the subject of an international convention for mutual recognition, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level; All applicants who do not fall within one of the above-mentioned situations shall directly address to the National Centre for Equivalence and Recognition of Diplomas (CNRED) within the relevant Ministry The recognition by the University of Pite?ti of the PhD diploma and doctorate title in science or in a professional field, obtained abroad, according to the provisions of this procedure, shall be carried out on the basis of the submission of a recognition file by the interested people. Remedies at law : The appeal shall be submitted to the University of Pite?ti, the Doctoral Studies Department within 15 business days. Subsequently, the university's final decision may be appealed to courts.
