The purpose of this procedure is to establish the norms, rules, and instructions for ensuring the proper conduct of automatic recognition activities, by the "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași, of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.

The procedure applies to the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences, documents issued by prestigious universities in other countries, which are included in the list of prestigious universities approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated, in accordance with the national and European legislative framework.

Appeal routes

The applicant may file an appeal within 3 working days from the communication of the evaluation result of the recognition file. The appeal must be submitted in writing, according to the template included in the procedure, and uploaded on the PCUe platform and/or sent to the e-mail address rectorat@umfiasi.ro. The Appeals Committee meets within a maximum of 48 hours from the submission of the appeal and, within 3 working days, communicates to the applicant, by e-mail, the solution to the submitted appeal. Against the recognition decision, a remedy may be filed with the courts, according to the applicable legal rules.
