This methodology establishes the way in which the automatic recognition is carried out, within the Gheorghe Dima National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, of the quality of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.
The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries, who have obtained the quality of doctoral supervisor in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation and in prestigious universities in other states included in the “List of prestigious universities from other states”, approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.

The profession of doctoral supervisor is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.*
