This methodology establishes the procedure for automatic recognition, within the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, of teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad. The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries, who have obtained teaching positions in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities in other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.

The teaching profession is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.*

Appeal routes

The decision can be appealed within 2 working days from issuance and will be resolved within 10 working days. If the applicant is not satisfied with the decision of the Appeals Committee regarding the evaluation of the recognition file, they may address the competent court, Cluj Tribunal, Mixed Section for Administrative and Fiscal Litigation, within the legal term of 30 days.
