Procedure regarding the drafting and issuance of duplicates of study documents*

The graduate submits, at the Office for completion and issuance of study documents, request for the issuance of a duplicate of the lost document, accompanied by the Official Gazette of Romania, notarized declaration, legalized copy of the birth certificate, fiscal stamp, and 2 photographs;
The secretary from the Study Documents Office checks if the series and number of the lost study document have been correctly published in the Official Gazette of Romania. The secretary from the Study Documents Office submits the decision, together with all documents provided by the graduate, to the chief secretary of the University to be signed by the rector/vice-rector in charge of teaching activity. The secretary from the Study Documents Office receives the signed decision and the documents.
The secretary from the Study Documents Office prepares the duplicate diploma based on the stub of the lost diploma (The duplicate diploma must be identical to the original document. If a diploma form from that period is no longer available, a typeset duplicate is prepared).
The secretary from the Study Documents Office presents the duplicate diploma to the chief secretary of the University, the dean, and the rector/vice-rector responsible for teaching activity for signing. Upon issuance of the duplicate, the procedure is the same as for the issuance of the diploma.
The duplicate of the grade sheet/supplement to the diploma is prepared at the faculty secretariat and must be identical to the original document. After signing, it is issued at the Study Documents Office.
