The purpose of this procedure is to implement internally the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained from accredited institutions of higher education abroad. The provisions of this procedure apply to Romanian citizens, citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries.

Appeal routes

The decision of recognition or non-recognition is issued, following the pronouncement of the final solution, by the Board of Administration of USAMV Iași. Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences by IOSUD - USAMV Iași must be submitted within 15 calendar days from the receipt of the decision. The response to the submitted appeal will be communicated, within 5 calendar days, by the management of IOSUD – USAMV Iași. The final decision may subsequently be challenged in court.
