The purpose of this methodology is to implement internally the Order of the Minister no. 6753/2023, as well as to establish the responsibilities of SNSPA regarding its obligations according to legal provisions, in a unified, transparent and legal context, in close correlation with the provisions of Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.

Entitled persons
  1. The methodology applies within the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration - SNSPA for the automatic recognition of teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.
  2. The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries.

Regulated professions
The teaching profession is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.*

Appeal routes

Challenging the recognition decision: The applicant has the right to challenge the decision of the Internal Specialty Evaluation Committee within 10 calendar days from receiving the notification. The challenge submitted by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved by the Appeals Committee within IOSUD-SNSPA within no more than 30 calendar days from the date of registration at the university. The decision of the Appeals Committee is final at the SNSPA level and is communicated both to the rector and to the applicant at the contact details indicated.
