PURPOSE OF THE PROCEDURE
The procedure establishes the ways in which the recognition of teaching positions from higher education, obtained in accredited universities abroad, is performed for persons wishing to work within the "Ştefan cel Mare" University of Suceava.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The procedure is used within the "Ştefan cel Mare" University of Suceava for teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited universities abroad.
CONTENT
Teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, from the Swiss Confederation and in prestigious higher education institutions from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by order of the relevant minister and updated periodically, are automatically recognized by higher education institutions in Romania.
Teaching positions obtained at other accredited higher education institutions than those mentioned in the previous paragraph, may be recognized, as appropriate, subject to the minimum requirements regarding the occupation of a teaching position in Romanian higher education in force at the date of application for recognition and the requirements provided in Regulation R51.
A certified translation is not requested for persons who have obtained study diplomas from accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation.
The recognition certificate will be drafted in two copies, one of which is sent to the applicant and one will be archived at SPADAC.

The decision may be contested only once, within 10 days from the date of communication, by a motivated request submitted to the USV registry, sent by mail or through PCUe.
The results found by the contestation committee are recorded in a report that will be part of the recognition file and will be signed by all members of the contestation committee.
The duration for resolving the contestation is a maximum of 10 working days from the date of registration of the contestation. The period provided in the previous paragraph may be extended in justified cases, the applicant being informed in writing, by postal courier or electronic mail.
The decision of the contestation committee, recorded in a report, may be challenged before the competent courts in the municipality of Suceava.
Issuing the recognition document
The recognition certificate is issued to the holder or to a person authorized by notarial power of attorney. In case of loss, destruction, or deterioration of the issued recognition document, upon request, a duplicate will be issued after consulting the archive.
