Persons classified with severe disability with a personal assistant are entitled to have the employment of a personal assistant paid by the local public authorities or to receive a monthly allowance in case they give up employing a personal assistant; the allowance is equivalent to the net salary of an entry-level social worker with secondary education in budgetary units other than those with beds.
The Social Benefits and Vulnerable People Service has the obligation to take the necessary measures to ensure the granting of the allowance equivalent to the net salary of an entry-level social worker with secondary education in budgetary units other than those with beds, to all people in need, classified with severe disability with a personal assistant, without any discrimination.
To benefit from the monthly allowance, the applicant must have their domicile or residence in the territory of the commune of Homocea.
