Procedure regarding the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor of science obtained abroad by the “Victor Babeş” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timişoara*

This procedure establishes the manner in which the “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara (UMFVBT) recognizes the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained abroad by Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.

The recognition by UMFVBT is carried out for the purpose of enrolling in post-university study programs, obtaining habilitation, occupying a teaching or research position within UMFVBT, participating in programs and projects financed by European and international funds, or for other purposes related to teaching and research activities within UMFVBT.

The Rector's decision not to recognize the doctoral degree and the title of doctor of science can be appealed only once, within 60 days from the notification, by submitting a motivated request, at the UMFVBT Registry or by e-mail, at doctorat@umft.ro.
