The application must be submitted 15 days before the expiration of the Urban Planning Certificate.

Notes:
1. According to the provisions of art. 6 para. (1) and (4) of the Law, the urban planning certificate is an informational document regarding the legal, economic and technical status of the property, as well as the specific urban planning requirements for the location, determined in accordance with the approved and validated urban planning documentation, a document which is issued, upon request, to any applicant—natural or legal person.
2. According to the Law, the urban planning certificate does not substitute a building/demolition permit and does not grant the right to perform construction works.
The procedure refers to the activity of issuing urban planning certificates as follows: receiving and registering applications for issuing urban planning certificates and the required documents in this sense; verifying the submitted documentation; drafting the urban planning certificates; registering them in the Register of urban planning certificates; sending the issued certificates to the applicants.
The urban planning certificate is the mandatory informational document by which the county or local public administration authority discloses the legal, economic and technical status of properties and the necessary conditions for carrying out investments, real estate transactions, or other real estate operations.
