The Central Unit or Territorial Branch for Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of authorizations in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the authorization is 24 months; before the expiration of this period, a single extension of the authorization may be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit, at least 5 days before the expiration of the validity period of the ANIF authorization for which the extension is requested) and field verification thereof.

The extension of the authorization will bear a different registration number from the ANIF authorization issuance register and is granted for a period of maximum 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the validity of the authorization is not possible, and the applicant will have to obtain, according to the law, another ANIF authorization.

ANIF issues the authorizations within 30 days from the submission of the documentation.
