The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension of the approval may be granted, upon written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration of the validity period of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and after its verification on site.
The extension of the approval will have a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuance register and is granted for a period of maximum 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the approval’s validity is not possible, the applicant having to obtain, under the law, another ANIF approval.
