The procedure refers to presenting the necessary activities for recruiting, evaluating, and training professional maternal assistants, as well as certifying and hiring professional maternal assistants in the Maternal Assistance Service Center. The professional maternal assistant is the individual, certified under the provisions of Ordinance no. 27/2004, who provides, through their activity at their own home, the upbringing, care, and education of the child during the application of the special protection measure of placement, emergency placement for the child temporarily or permanently separated from their parents, or, as the case may be, during the respite period of another maternal assistant.
