Available procedures
Request for the current professional certificate*
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
The Current Professional Certificate will be drafted by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, who will prepare it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Registry of records – with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in that county – and will hand them to the applicants with a signature of receipt.
The issuance fee for the Current Professional Certificate, amounting to 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file that will include the documents attached below.
Registration in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making an express request in this regard, fulfill the following conditions: they hold an official qualification in pharmacy, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree within the last 5 years, and have paid the registration fee (10% of the minimum wage economy).
The fee should be paid into the account of the territorial college RO45UGBI0000332008373RON.
Suspension of membership*
The suspension of membership status takes place when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists Suceava, a request by which they ask for the suspension of membership status. At the time they request this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training by achieving 40 EFC hours for the respective period. In support of the request, the following documents must also be attached:
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from the resumption of activity.
*Duplicate Member Certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Certificate of membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists Suceava, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the following documents presented below.
*Resumption of membership status*
The resumption of membership is based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Suceava Pharmacists’ College, through which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date, and in support of the requests, the documents listed below are attached.
*Pharmacist transfer request*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the transfer note is issued, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay up to date the dues owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed to the applicant, with signature. In the pharmacists’ registry, the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If a complaint has been filed against the pharmacist at the college from which they are transferring, or if a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or disciplinary file will be sent to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
*
