The professional maternal assistant is the individual, certified under the conditions of Government Decision no. 679/2003, who, through their activity carried out at their own home, provides the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they receive in foster care.
The person seeking to become a professional maternal assistant will submit an application for capacity assessment to DGASPC Brasov. The application must specify the number of children the applicant believes they can simultaneously provide optimal care conditions for, their age group and gender, and the availability to care for children with disabilities/impairments, infected with HIV, or suffering from AIDS.
The application will include the applicant's Curriculum Vitae as well as the reasons for wishing to become a professional maternal assistant.
