Resumption of CFR membership*
Resuming membership is done based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits at the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, through which they request to resume membership starting from a certain date.

Suspension of CFR membership*
Suspension of membership is done when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, a request by which they ask for the suspension of their membership.

Duplicate member certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, as set out below.

Request for the Current Professional Certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in the consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 part I, as well as the Implementation Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in case of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of the chief pharmacist – for those who will take over the chief position), must address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is required for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country.
The methodology for preparation and issuance of the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application for the preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will prepare the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania which will prepare it and forward it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will keep a Register of records – with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will hand them over to the applicants with a signature upon receipt.
The fee for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, amounting to 100 lei, shall be paid into the account of the territorial College RO56RNCB0003037778210001.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file containing the documents listed below.

Procedure regarding registration in the College of Pharmacists of Alba County*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making a formal request to this effect, meet the following conditions: they hold an official qualification in pharmacy, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice as a pharmacist, have not interrupted practicing the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree within the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the territorial college RO56RNCB0003037778210001 in the amount of 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 YEAR of graduation and 235 lei for the rest of the persons).

The transfer of a pharmacist to another territorial College*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before issuing the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, under signature, to the applicant. In the pharmacist’s record register (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm), the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If a complaint has been registered against the pharmacist at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint and/or the disciplinary file will be transmitted to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
